Please note where it says they were not registered sex offenders or under other types of law enforcement scrutiny.

ARC Analysis Summary of Case Files
by Richard Oliver ini have been doing research on the arc as some people on here have suggested.
i find it interesting on the case file analysis some of the findings.
it looks like queensland and new south wales had the biggest problems with this.

I believe your DOJ statistics don't tell the whole story of what the report actually said. If you examine it carefully it states those statistics are for sex offenders that are being actively monitored by law enforcement or on sex offender registries so that parents and schools know these people should not be around children.
If Jehovah's Witnesses would just allow the authorities to take care of abuse issues, they would not have the problems they do.
edited to add: recidivism rates only include the number of times someone got caught reoffending.

Dedicated to God can be withdrawn!!!!!
by megabyte_vijay injehovah's witnesses officials always tells that once we dedicated our lives to god, we need to do his will till the 'end' of the system or end of our life.. and they always quote the scripture eccl 5:5.. then, what about the properties worldwide?
kingdom halls, buildings in new york 97columbia heights, hotel margaret, head quarter buildings in brooklyn and many properties once they dedicated to god but now they are freely selling the properties.
once dedicated to god, the properties became god's.. if we consider samson's example, judges 13:5 stating about samson that "no razor shall come on his head; .

For all the times I have been threatened with the wrath of God it's never happened. So saying "God is unchanged. You will get your punishment." means nothing. The Witnesses will get no punishment from God. They might get punishment from governments and people of this world that they have inflicted harm upon, but God, no. -

The problem is the organization knew the molester had a propensity to molest and did nothing to stop it. Please see my last comment which you conveniently skipped over.
The organization can't be liable for abuse they didn't know was happening, but every case in the ARC was documented by the Watchtower organization - so it was known to them, and they did nothing to stop it.

From my standpoint the organization is not going to be able to stop abuse they don't know about.
But once they are aware, they are either going to stop it by reporting it or be complicit in allowing it to continue. They have shown in the past, being complicit in allowing it to continue.
Obviously there is a record of the abuse in the ARC findings so the organization knew about the abuse, even familial.

I do not want your sympathy. I want you to understand these acts are being committed against real children, who are forever affected by it. If abuse can be stopped from occurring or from occurring again - it needs to be stopped.
You are missing my point regardless of who is abusing a child - if an organization has information that could stop the abuse or stop it from happening to other members of the household, or to the same child again, they need to treat it as a CRIME, not a sin. Let professional investigate and prosecute.

As someone who was molested by another congregant at the Kingdom Hall, I am not naive to the indifference shown by Jehovah's Witnesses when handling sexual abuse among its members.
I left that long ago and have no desire to interact with persons who are indifferent to the suffering of children.

Do you think a child would prefer to be raped multiple times and when they reached out for help to have the elders side with the abuser? Or do you think they would want the abuse to stop and be given the help needed to recover as best they can?
Your argument is naive and indicative of your cult affiliation.
